About Proford
Our Story:
In December 2012, 11 translation companies came together to found the Hungarian Association of Professional Language Service Providers.
Since then, Proford has been the advocacy body of professional language service providers in Hungary.
We translate, interpret, teach and learn; we organize workshops, conferences, and job fairs, and also represent the interests of professional language service providers on both the Hungarian and international markets.
Our aims:
– We continuously strive to improve the quality standards in Hungary for linguistic services and interlingual communications.
– To this end, we harmonize our efforts with European quality norms and standards.
– We represent the interests of the Hungarian language services industry.
– We promote the application of professional ethics and fair market practices.
