Translation technology workshop 2025

The Association of Professional Translation Service Providers will again organize its translation technology workshop in 2025, this time in cooperation with ELTE and EUATC, with international and national speakers.
The planned program is:
14:00–14:10 Opening (Balázs Kis, Edina Robin)
14:10–14:50 Ligeti-Nagy Noémi: How do we research large language models in Hungary?
14:50–15:05 Marina Pantcheva, Balázs Kis: Introducing the AI Localization Think Tank
15:05–15:30 Break
15:30–16:30 Marina Pantcheva: Practical AI in an LSC environment
16:30–16:35 Technical break
16:35–17:30 Closing panel: What is AI literacy and how to become AI literate? Where have the Swiss Army Knife TMSs gone?
17:30– Networking

The workshop will be partly in English due to our foreign speaker. No interpretation will be provided.

Participation fee: 19,900 HUF + VAT
Reduced participation fee: 13,900 HUF + VAT (for staff of member offices, members of partner organizations)
Each Proford office will receive a complimentary ticket for one person. Full-time ELTE students and lecturers can attend the workshop for free, but registration is required!
