Code of conduct

Members of the Hungarian Association of Professional Language Service Providers (hereinafter: PROFORD) must comply with the following requirements:

PROFORD members will

  • behave fairly towards their customers, competitors and sub-contractors
  • always provide truthful information in their informational and marketing materials
  • have written agreements in place with their sub-contractors
  • pay their sub-contractors as agreed
  • be committed to quality
  • strive to resolve disputes amicably
  • be open to resolving disputes by means of mediation
  • comply with the terms and conditions of the Hungarian Translation Industry Cooperation Agreements
